Janice D. Rubin is a counselor and educator. She received her M.S. from the University of Oregon and her B.A. in English Literature. Her poems have been published in Third Wednesday, San Pedro River Review, the Timberline Review, CIRQUE, Red River Review, Glass: A Journal of Poetry, Tiger's Eye Poetry Journal, the Austin International Poetry Anthology, It Demands a Wildness of Me Anthology (Uttered Chaos Press), Pandemic Puzzle Poems Anthology, (Blue Light Press) among others. She was nominated for the Pushcart Poetry Prize in 2008. Her first full length collection, Tin Coyote (Blue Light Press) was nominated for the 2019 Stafford/Hall Award for Poetry. She was a finalist for the Blue Light Press Book Award. She has taught at Oregon State University in Corvallis and at Lane Community College in Eugene. She's the author of Transcending Damnation Creek Trail & Other Poems (Flutter Press, 2010) and Tin Coyote (Blue Light Press, 2018).
